Appellant was charged and convicted of first degree murder following a trial by jury and sentenced to life imprisonment pursuant to Ind.Code § 35-13-4-l(a). Counsel was appointed to prosecute this appeal and in so doing has presented seven issues:(1) whether error occurred when the trial court denied appellant’s petition for discharge for delay in trial based upon Ind.R.
