1. Section 29 of the Judicial Code of the United States provides that the party desiring to remove a suit of the nature described from a State court to the district court of the United States “may make and file a petition, duly verified, in such suit in such State court . . for the removal of such suit into the district court to be held in the district where such suit is pend*272ing, and shall make and file therewith a bond. . .
