|! Following a single vehicle motorcycle accident, Plaintiff, Gerald W. Greer (Greer), filed suit against the State of Louisiana, through the Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD), a private landowner, James Wade Willis (Willis), Willis’ homeowner’s insurer, Patterson Insurance Company (Patterson), and following Patterson being placed into receivership, Louisiana Insurance Guaranty Association (LIGA).
