—In an action to recover damages for personal injuries, etc., the plaintiffs appeal from a judgment of the Supreme Court, Suffolk County (Underwood, J.), entered October 21, 1998, which, upon the *223granting of the defendants’ motion for judgment as a matter of law, made at the close of the plaintiffs’ case, is in favor of the defendants dismissing the complaint.

Ordered that the judgment is affirmed, with costs.
