Plaintiffs brought this action in the district court to quiet title to a tract of land situated in Butler county. Defendants Salsbury, Lemon and Brown answered, setting up certain proceedings and judgments in attachment, in which they were plaintiffs and the defendant Joseph Wells was the defendant, by which they alleged that they had obtained liens upon the land id question which were prior and.superior to the rights of the plaintiffs.
