Lawrence Pfanmiller died intestate, an inmate of the Central Lunatic Asylum for the Insane of this State, on the 2d of December, 1899. He had been admitted under a verdict and judgment of the Jefferson circuit court (criminal division) May 4, 1897. At that time he had a family — his wife and one infant child. There were a number of children who were grown and had left home. Pfanmiller owned a small piece of real property in the city of Louisville, worth about $700 or $800.
