Appellant, Mark E. Bauder, was arrested on December 26, 2005, at approximately 11:00 p.m., by Kentucky State Trooper, Eric Gibson, and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol. As part of an effort by the Kentucky State Police to deter driving while under the influence during the holiday season, a roadblock was *590established at the intersection of Kentucky Highway 300 and Kentucky Highway 34 in Parksville, Kentucky.
