OPINION

FONES, Justice.

This is a direct appeal of a worker’s compensation case by plaintiff who was dissatisfied with the trial judge’s award of 3% permanent partial disability to the body as a whole, and complains that two procedural errors were made.

Plaintiff sustained a back injury in April, 1977, in the course and scope of her employment. The first trial of this case was held *698on January 29, 1979, before Judge Wilkes Coffey, Jr. The depositions of three doctors were presented. Dr. Lee rated her permanent impairment at 20%, Dr. Haber at 3%, and Dr. Davis found no abnormal objective symptoms…
