REINHARD, Judge.

Defendant was convicted by a jury for the offense of robbery in the second degree, § 569.030, RSMo 1978, and was sentenced to a term of eight years in the Division of Corrections. He now appeals.

The evidence shows the following facts. On the afternoon of June 25, 1979, Robert Lanfersieck was working as the clerk in a convenience food store in Wellston when two men entered the store. The shorter of the two men pointed a revolver at Lanfer-sieck, and the taller man, who was holding a knife, announced that it was a holdup. Lanfersieck was ordered to lie down on the floor behind…
