This was an action brought by the plaintiff against the defendants, on an account for services rendered to the defendants’ testatrix. On the trial of the case the jury found a verdict for the plaintiff for the sura of $1,000. A motion was made for a new trial, on the grounds that the verdict was contrary to the charge of the Court, without evidence, and / strongly and decidedly against the weight of the evidence.
