I Facts and Procedural History.

David and Linda Chiesi were legally married. They had two children, Kimberly and Christopher. Christopher is a minor and his estate is represented in this proceeding by Thomas Macke who was appointed as guardian by the Porter Superior Court.

David acquired two life insurance policies and had Linda named as the sole beneficiary in each policy. No secondary beneficiaries were named. The life insurance poli-cles were issued by Reliance Standard Life Insurance Company and Metropolitan Life Insurance Company.

David died on February 11, 1990 leaving…
