OPINION

NIX, Judge.

This is a direct appeal1 from the judgments of sentence for two citations of summary criminal contempt imposed on appellant by the Court of Common Pleas of Philadelphia. The sole issue in this appeal is whether appellant’s conduct in twice intentionally failing to rise when the trial judge entered the courtroom is sufficient to support a summary *574contempt conviction under subsection 3 of the Penal Contempt Statute, 42 Pa.C.S.A. § 4131(3).2
