BECKER, Justice.

The plaintiffs, Leonard Brandt and his wife Norma Brandt, brought this law action to recover for personal injuries Leonard suffered while working as a farm employee for the defendant D. E. Richter. The jury awarded Leonard damages in the sum of $8,600 and denied damages to the wife. When defendant’s motion for judgment notwithstanding the verdict was overruled on March 9, 1967, defendant appealed.
