OPINION

REBECA HUDDLE, Justice.

Appellant Keith Allen Kupferer pleaded guilty to first degree murder. See Tex. Penal Code § 19.02(b)(1) (West 2011). Kupferer was sentenced to forty years’ imprisonment. Before pleading guilty, Kupferer filed a motion to suppress his confession and other evidence obtained by police. After a suppression hearing, the trial court denied Kupferer’s motion.
