The plaintiff, a resident of the state of Arkansas, brings this suit against the defendant, a corporation domiciled in the city of Shreveport, for the sum of $15,000 for herself individually, and for $15,000 as guardian for her minor daughter, for the death of Ollie Waters, her husband and the father of her daughter, caused by a collision between a seven-passenger Cadillac automobile, in which he was riding as a passenger alone on the back seat, and a truck owned and operated by the defendant company.
