This is an appeal by the employer and its insurance carrier from a decision of the Workmen’s Compensation Board, filed August 14,1969, which awarded compensation benefits to the claimant.
The appellants contend that the record does not contain substantial evidence to support the board’s finding that the accident suffered by the claimant arose out of and in the course of employment.
The claimant and others residing in the area of Binghamton were hired by the employer, a subcontractor, to perform carpentry construction work in Oneonta. The job site was about 90 miles from the claimant’s residence…
