On the 4th day of September, 1926, A. J. Svoboda brought suit in the justice court in and for precinct No. 6 of De Witt county against Mrs. W. J. Alexander, praying for judgment against defendant for $163.-06. On the same day citation was issued, citing defendant to appear and answer the suit on the 13th day of September, 1926, same being the second Monday of said month. Such citation was duly served on defendant on the 6th day of September, 1926. Defendant made no appearance by answer or otherwise.
