| THIBODEAUX, Judge.

Willis Thomas appeals a judgment from the Office of Workers’ Compensation denying him compensation benefits, penalties, and attorney fees. Thomas, a patrolman for the Town of Arnaudville Police Department, was injured in an unwitnessed, one-car accident that occurred while he was on duty and in pursuit of a speeding vehicle. We conclude that the workers’ compensation judge committed manifest error in finding the claimant had not proven by a preponderance of the ^evidence that a compensable, work-related accident occurred.
