A jury convicted Alphonzo Jamal Lewis of aggravated assault (family violence) for hitting the victim with his “hands, fists, and/or feet” and with battery (family violence) by striking her with a curtain rod. The trial court sentenced him as a recidivist to twenty years, to serve five years in prison followed by fifteen years on probation. On *219appeal, Lewis enumerates eleven errors, but argues six, involving the admission of similar transaction evidence, evidentiary rulings, and objections to the State’s closing arguments. For the reasons that follow, we affirm.
