PELL, Circuit Judge.

These consolidated appeals challenge the district court’s denial of a preliminary injunction of certain sections of S.B. 47, the Illinois Abortion Law of 1975, enacted, as amended, on October 30,1979, over the veto of Illinois Governor Thompson. 1 Some of the plaintiffs are physicians engaged in the practice of obstetrics and gynecology, and some of the plaintiffs are corporations that perform abortion services for women.
