Plaintiff Joseph M. Laconte brought suit against Chester Devlin alleging that Devlin, while a priest and teacher at Holy Name Catholic High School in 1979, sexually assaulted him on multiple occasions when the plaintiff was a 16-year-old junior at the Holy Name Catholic High School in Worcester. Suit was commenced on June 2, 2003.
