The defendant appeals his conviction for aggravated assault. Held:

1. The defendant contends he is entitled to a new trial because of newly discovered evidence. The defendant proceeded to trial with a co-defendant who, at the close of the State’s evidence, pleaded guilty. It is contended that the co-defendant would now offer exculpatory testimony on behalf of the defendant. Originally, defendant’s attorney represented both defendants.
