This is an action for foreclosure of mechanics’ liens. Four plaintiffs, each a subcontractor claiming a lien, joined in one petition, each seeking foreclosure of his respective lien. Another lien claimant was made defendant and filed a cross-petition, seeking foreclosure of its lien. Defendant Swift & Company was the owner of the premises. Collins Construction Company was the general contractor, and, while designated in the petition as a defendant, it was not served and made no appearance in the action.
