Defendant was found guilty by a district court jury of a charge of aggravated robbery, Minn.Stat. § 609.245 (1963), and was sentenced by the trial court to a prison term of 1 year and 1 day to 20 years. On this appeal from judgment of conviction and from the order denying a motion for a new trial defendant contends that the district court erred in (1) refusing to dismiss the prosecution on speedy trial grounds, (2) refusing to admit expert testimony on the unreliability of eyewitness identification testimony, and (3) instructing the jury that the only real issue for them to…
