In these appeals from their convictions by a jury of conspiracy to distribute cocaine base, 21 U.S.C. § 846, distribution of cocaine base, id. § 841, and distribution of cocaine base within 1,000 feet of a school, in violation of id. § 860(a), appellants Lorenzo J. Baylor and Walter Jamal Smith raise separate and joint challenges.
