The Farmers’ and Merchants’ Bank of Vandalia, as the owner of certain bonds of the Vandalia Telephone Company, and the Union Trust and Savings Bank of East St. Louis, as the trustee in a trust deed securing such bonds, filed a bill to foreclose the trust deed, which was dated June i, 1907, and conveyed the telephone exchange, switchboard, poles, wires, instruments, and all property of every description of the Vandalia Telephone Company.
