This is a contest over the custody and care of a little girl, whose parents are divorced. The child is now S yéars and 9 months of age. Her father obtained the divorce and' was awarded’the permanent care and custody of the child. Her mother allowed the judgment of divorce to go hy default, not knowing that the suit was also for the care and custody of her child. When the petition and citation were served upon her by the deputy sheriff she asked him what it was all about, and he replied that it was a suit for divorce and that if she had no objection to her husband’s…
