This is an appeal from a trial court judgment in a possessory action. Finding the trial court did not err, we affirm.
*533BACKGROUND
On August 17, 1995, Beulah M. Poirrier filed a possessory action against Jimmie Aucoin, seeking to be restored to possession of real property located in Ascension Parish, as well as injunctive relief and damages. In her possessory action, Ms. Poirrier claimed she was in possession of certain immovable property acquired by act of partition with Norman J. Poirrier and Herman P.
