In an action to recover damages for personal injuries, the de*1072fendants appeal from an order of the Supreme Court, Nassau County (Adams, J.), entered September 7, 2011, which granted the plaintiffs motion for summary judgment on the issue of liability.

Ordered that the order is affirmed, with costs.
