MEMORANDUM OPINION

SCOTT REED, District Judge.

This litigation involves two conflicting claims to the proceeds of a life insurance policy. This matter is before the court on the motion of third party defendant Tamara Bartholomew for partial summary judgment and on the motion of plaintiff and Rule 14 defendant Jane Barlow Blount for summary judgment. These motions have been fully briefed and are ripe for a decision.
