Appeal from an order of the Family Court of Sullivan County (Ledina, J.), entered February 9, 2007, which dismissed petitioner’s application, in a proceeding pursuant to Family Ct Act article 10, to adjudicate respondent’s children to be neglected.

Respondent is the biological mother of two children, Madison (born in 2003) and Nicholas (2006). In January 2006, when Nicholas was approximately one week old, authorities were summoned to respondent’s residence in response to a complaint that Nicholas had been injured during the course of an altercation between respondent and Nicholas’s father.…
