BARRON, Justice.

The plaintiff, Juno Carl Hudson, brought this suit against the defendant, The Methodist Hospital, to recover damages for bodily injuries sustained by Hudson when he slipped and fell in the bathroom adjoining his room in the defendant hospital. The case was tried to a jury. In answer to special issues the jury found that the defendant hospital negligently failed to provide a non-slip surface in the bathroom and that such negligence was a proximate cause of plaintiff’s injuries.
