Introduction

Lindell Briscoe (Briscoe) appeals the denial of his amended motion for post-conviction relief after an evidentiary hearing. Briscoe was convicted by a jury of first-degree assault and armed criminal action, and sentenced to concurrent sentences of fifteen years imprisonment for each count. Briscoe’s conviction was upheld in State v. Briscoe, 243 S.W.3d 492 (MoApp. E.D. 2008).
