Harr appeals from a judgment convicting him of three counts of possession of a firearm by a felon and sentencing him to a total of five years in prison, to be served "consecutive" to his § 971.17, Stats., commitment to the Mendota Mental Health Institution (Mendota), which resulted from an *586unrelated criminal case in which he was adjudged not guilty by reason of mental disease or defect (NGI).
