OPINION

JACKSON, Presiding Judge:

« 1 Defendant appeals his conviction subsequent to a conditional guilty plea to possession of a firearm by a restricted person, a second-degree felony, in violation of Utah Code Ann. § 76-10-508(2)(a) (Supp.2001) (Weapons Restrictions Statute). 1 We affirm.
