MURPHY, Circuit Judge.

This case is back before us after the Supreme Court granted Duane Carpenter’s petition for certiorari, vacated our earlier judgment in his case, and remanded for further proceedings in light of United States v. Booker. — U.S. -, 125 S.Ct. 1037, 160 L.Ed.2d 1032 (2005). We previously affirmed all but one of Carpenter’s convictions and his sentence, as well as the convictions of coconspirators Bart *742Underwood and Gayle Steele. See United States v.
