Defendant-appellant Ramon Santiago appeals from a judgment of the United States District Court for the District of Connecticut (Alan H. Nevas, Judge) convicting him of one count of possession of a firearm by a felon, in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 922(g)(1). 1 Having found defendant to have three serious prior convictions, each arising from offenses committed on different occasions, the district judge sentenced defendant principally to fifteen years’ imprisonment pursuant to 18 U.S.C. § 924(e). 2 Defendant argues on appeal that, under the Supreme Court’s decision in…
