These three actions, involving the same issues of fact and law, were tried together. The plaintiff is a domestic corporation organized for charitable purposes. Each *216of the defendant railway companies is a foreign corporation, maintaining a registry or transfer office in the city of Yew York. The defendant Gibson is the general partner of the limited partnership of H. Knickerbacker & Co., and is a member of the Yew York Stock Exchange, engaged in business in the city of Yew York, as a stock broker.
