Richard Jermine Williams appeals the denial of his motion for new trial on the basis of ineffective assistance of counsel. For the reasons that follow, we affirm.

As established in Williams’s earlier appeal:

The evidence in this case showed that at approximately 12:30 a.m. on February 16, 2002, a Wendy’s restaurant in Bainbridge was robbed. Williams was an employee of the restaurant. He left work shortly before 12:30 a.m. on the night in question, leaving the shift manager in the restaurant by herself.
