MEMORANDUM

LEIGHTON, Senior Judge.

This is a suit by a former employee who alleges that she was discharged from her employment because of her race. Defendant moves to dismiss pursuant to Fed.R. Civ.P. 12(b)(6). It asserts three grounds: first, that plaintiff’s § 1981 and § 1983 claims are barred by the applicable Illinois statute of limitations; second, that on the facts alleged, a § 1983 claim has not been stated; and third, that plaintiff has not alleged a claim of racial discrimination.
