Jeffrey Albert Gosling appeals his judgment and sentence after a jury found him guilty of failure of a sex offender to register with the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV). On appeal, Gosling argues that the trial court erred in: (1) violating the rules of double jeopardy and collateral es-toppel based on the holdings of our previous opinion in which we overturned Gosling’s conviction, Gosling v.
