In an action to recover damages for personal injuries, the defendants appeal, as limited by a letter dated September 22, 2011, from so much of an order of the Supreme Court, Suffolk *1191County (Pitts, J.), dated February 25, 2011, as denied that branch of their motion which was for summary judgment dismissing the complaint.
Ordered the order is affirmed insofar as appealed from, with costs.
