This is a proceeding under subdivision 2 of section 28 of the Liquor Tax Law (Laws of 1896, chap. 112, as amd. by Laws of 1903';-chap. 486) for the cancellation of a liquor tax certifícate on account of material statements in the application fpr such certificate alleged to be false.
The evidence warrants the finding that at the time of the issuance of the certificate Forbush was the proprietor of a hotel' in Peekskillknown as the Hotel Raleigh, situated on the corner of .South and Depeiv streets, the nearest entrance to which was within 200 feet of the nearest entrance to a church…
