Farrier v. Teacher's Retirement Board

¶1 Appellant Teacher’s Retirement Board (TRB) appeals from an order entered by the First Judicial District Court, Lewis and Clark County, granting summary judgment in favor of Respondent Merle Farrier (Farrier). Farrier, a former employee of the Hot Springs School District and a current employee of the University of Montana (University), challenged the statutory scheme governing the eligibility for public pensions of those employees who work for a local school district, retire, and then begin work at the University.
