¶ 1. This is an appeal from an order of the circuit court for Green County, Daniel L. LaRocque, Reserve Judge, denying Deryl B. Beyer's pro se motion for release from commitment as a sexually violent person under chapter 980 of the statutes.1 The court of appeals certified the case to *6this court pursuant to Wis. Stat. § (Rule) 809.61 (2003-04).2 We accepted the certification and affirm the order of the circuit court.
