After a jury trial in 2016, Alfred Moore was convicted of first- degree burglary, for which he was sentenced to serve 20 years in prison, and other crimes, resulting in a total sentence of 45 years to serve. On direct appeal, the Court of Appeals in an unpublished opinion affirmed Moore’s convictions on grounds that are not pertinent to this appeal. See Moore v. State, 350 Ga.
