¶ 1. Monica Harris filed a' civil suit against the Town of Woodville and Chief Jessie Stewart of the Woodville Police Department in his personal capacity. Harris alleged state-law claims of assault and battery, negligent and/or intentional infliction of emotional distress, common-law harassment, failure to properly train, failure to properly supervise, and conspiracy, as a result of an incident involving Chief Stewart slapping Harris on her bottom while in the workplace.
