MEMORANDUM OPINION

CONRAD, District Judge.

Linda Coffey brings this action pursuant to 42 U.S.C. § 1983 against Kevin W. Morris, alleging that the defendant violated her Fourth and Fourteenth Amendment rights. Ms. Coffey also asserts several state claims against the defendant, including assault and battery, false arrest and false imprisonment, and malicious prosecution. The case was filed in this court on February 4, 2005. The case is currently before the court on the defendant’s motion for summary judgment.
