St. Louis County appeals a judgment that awarded the property owners damages for the county’s taking of their real property by eminent domain. St. Louis County claims that the judgment should be reversed and the case remanded because the record of the jury trial on the property owners’ exceptions to the condemnation commissioners’ report is inadequate for appellate review as portions of the trial proceedings were inaudible or not recorded.
