Spain, J. Appeal from a judgment of the County Court of Albany County (Breslin, J), rendered November 4, 1998, upon a verdict convicting defendant of the crime of murder in the second degree.

Following a jury trial, defendant was convicted of intentional second degree murder for the November 6, 1997 stabbing and beating death of Jenna Honis at her apartment on Madison Avenue in the City of Albany.
